Color Screens for everyday situations
- Need a clean, bright surface or soft light? Open the White Screen for a plain white field, useful for checking smudges, tracing, or adding light to a video call. For a dimmer display or to inspect dust and edge glow, try the Black Screen.
- Setting up a chroma-key background? Use the Green Screen for a solid green field that can serve as a backdrop or a green-subpixel reference.
- Checking a particular color channel? The Red Screen shows red, while the Blue Screen shows blue. For a combined red-and-blue view, choose the Magenta Screen.
- Looking for a neutral surface? Use the Gray Screen to check screen uniformity and banding or to create a neutral photo or video background.
- Want a particular shade for a background or light? With Custom Color Screen, choose a color visually or enter a HEX, RGB, or HSL value, then view it fullscreen or download an image.
- Prefer a softer or warmer color? Try Beige Screen for gentle light, or Mint Screen for a pale colored background or light.
How to choose
Start with the job you need to do. For cleaning or a quick visual check, select a color that makes the marks or display details you’re looking for easier to see. For a background, choose the shade that suits your photo or video; green is the listed option for chroma-key use, while gray provides a neutral surface.
When checking subpixels, pick a screen color that matches the channel you want to view: red, green, or blue. Combined colors can help you view more than one channel together—for example, magenta shows red and blue. If none of the presets is the right shade, use Custom Color Screen and enter a color value or select one visually. For a simple light, choose the color and intensity that feels appropriate for your setting.
