Disclaimer
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This disclaimer explains the limits and intended use of White Screen and its browser-based tools. Please read it before relying on a tool or using a screen effect.
Informational use only
White Screen provides practical browser tools for general, personal, creative, and educational use. The content and tools are offered for information and convenience. They are not a substitute for professional advice, services, or an assessment by a qualified person.
Tools run in your browser. Their output may look or behave differently depending on your device, browser, display settings, and surrounding light. Colors and effects shown on screen are not guaranteed to match a particular physical color or result.
Monitor tests are visual aids
Monitor tests and patterns can help you spot visible display issues or compare how settings look. For example, the Monitor Test and Monitor Test Patterns display visual material for inspection.
These tools are not calibrated measuring instruments, professional diagnostics, or repair services. What you see can vary with the display, browser, graphics settings, and viewing conditions. A pattern cannot confirm the cause or severity of a problem. If you are concerned about a device, consult its manufacturer or a qualified repair professional rather than relying only on a browser test.
Health and comfort
Use screen tools at a comfortable brightness and stop if you experience discomfort. A bright fullscreen field may be uncomfortable, particularly in a dark room. Avoid staring at bright screens for extended periods, and take breaks when needed.
Some tools display flashing, moving, or high-contrast patterns. These effects may cause discomfort or trigger symptoms in people who are sensitive to flashing lights, motion, or visual patterns, including people with photosensitivity. Do not use an effect if it makes you feel unwell. If you have a health concern, seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
Simulators and pranks
Simulated screens, including fake update scenes, the hacker screen, fictional video calls, and no-signal displays, are demonstrations and visual props. They do not update, access, or change your device, and they do not request permissions, credentials, or payments. They are not real system messages or real calls.
Use these simulations transparently and responsibly. Do not use them to deceive, defraud, intimidate, or pressure anyone, or to make someone believe that a device is being updated, compromised, or used in a real call. Make the fictional nature clear to anyone who could mistake a simulation for a real event.
Generated images and tool output
Background and wallpaper tools create images in your browser for you to download and use. You are responsible for reviewing and using any image you create in a way that is appropriate for your purpose. White Screen does not promise that generated results will meet a particular technical, printing, accessibility, or design requirement.
No professional advice
Nothing on White Screen is medical, technical repair, calibration, or other professional advice. You decide whether a tool is suitable for your situation and are responsible for how you use its output. When a decision has significant consequences, seek advice from an appropriate qualified professional.

White Screen may refer to websites or services outside the site. Those third parties control their own content, availability, and practices. A reference or link does not mean White Screen endorses them, and we are not responsible for their content or services. Review their terms and policies before using them.
