Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use apply when you visit or use White Screen and its browser-based tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Using the tools

White Screen provides free tools that run in your browser. You do not need an account, registration, payment or installation to use them. Colors, patterns, animations, timers and generated images are created on your device. Text you enter into a tool, such as a focus task label or wallpaper text, stays on your device and is not uploaded.

The tools are provided for ordinary personal, educational, creative and work-related use. You are responsible for how you use them and for checking that a tool is suitable for your device, browser and purpose. Features may not work the same way on every device or browser, and the site or an individual tool may sometimes be unavailable or changed.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and do not interfere with its operation or try to misuse, damage or gain unauthorized access to the site or another person’s device, account or data. Do not use the tools to violate another person’s rights or to mislead others in a harmful way.

Simulators—including fake update screens, the hacker screen, the fake video call and the no-signal screen—are clearly labeled demonstrations. They do not update or change a device, establish a real call, alter a connection, or access a computer. They do not request permissions, credentials or payments. You must not use them to deceive, defraud or pressure anyone. Use them as clearly presented visual props for demonstrations, creative work or harmless entertainment.

User-created images and text

Some tools let you create or download images, backgrounds and wallpapers. These are generated in your browser; images are not uploaded to White Screen. These terms do not claim ownership of images or text you create. You are responsible for the material you enter, the images you make and how you use or share them. Make sure you have the rights and permissions needed for any text, designs or other material you include, and do not use generated material in a way that violates someone else’s rights or applicable rules.

Intellectual property

White Screen’s name, site design, written content and tool interfaces may be protected by intellectual property rights. These terms do not give you ownership of those materials. You may use the tools as provided, but do not copy, republish or present site materials as your own unless you have permission or the law allows it. Names or visual styles associated with third-party operating systems and products remain associated with their respective owners; simulated screens are demonstrations, not official updates or services.

Visual tests and simulations

Monitor tests are visual aids for spotting possible visible issues. They are not calibrated measurements, professional diagnostics or repairs, and results can vary with your display, settings, lighting, browser and viewing conditions. A test cannot confirm that a screen is faulty or guarantee that it is working correctly. For example, the Monitor Test can help you look for visible irregularities, but it is not a substitute for qualified inspection or repair.

Simulated scenes and screensavers are visual effects only. For instance, the Fake Windows Update does not install updates, and the Hacker Simulator does not access or change a computer.

No warranty

White Screen and its tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, no promise is made that the site will always be available, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or suitable for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of visual results, generated output or information on the site.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, White Screen is not responsible for losses or damage arising from your access to or use of the site, inability to use a tool, reliance on a visual test, or use of content you create. This includes indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility where applicable law does not allow it to be limited.

Links to other sites

White Screen may refer to tools or pages operated by others. If you follow an external link, the other site’s terms and practices apply. White Screen does not control or take responsibility for external sites or their content.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site or its tools change. The “Last updated” date above indicates when this page was most recently revised. If you continue to use White Screen after terms change, your use is subject to the updated terms.
