The starting shade is #FFC0CB, and you can switch to another preset or choose a custom color. Photographers, creators, and anyone cleaning a touchscreen can set up the color in a few clicks, then keep the display controls within reach until they are ready to use the screen.
How to use Pink Screen
- Open Pink Screen to show the default #FFC0CB color. In Quick colors, select Pink or another listed color such as White, Black, Red, or Blue.
- For a different shade, choose Choose a custom color and use Color picker or enter values with HEX, RGB, or HSL. The Hue, Saturation, and Lightness controls let you adjust the color. Use Reset to return to the starting value, Copy HEX to copy its code, or Share color to share it.
- Select Fullscreen for a larger, color-only view. Choose Exit fullscreen when you want to return to the controls.
- To prevent accidental touches while wiping a device, select Cleaning mode. Touches are ignored while it is active; press and hold for 2 seconds to exit.
- For a downloaded background, use Download a solid-color image. Choose an Image format (PNG, JPEG, or WEBP) and a Resolution, or select Custom dimensions and enter Width (px) and Height (px). Select Download image.
When to use it
- Inspect a new display: Show a solid pink field before a return window closes and look for obvious pixel irregularities. Use a dedicated test for a more focused check.
- Clean a phone or tablet: Turn on Cleaning mode before wiping so touches do not activate controls. Follow the device maker’s cleaning guidance for the screen surface.
- Add colored light to a portrait: Set the display near the subject as a soft pink accent, then adjust its position and your device’s physical brightness to suit the scene.
- Make a product photo backdrop: Use the uniform color as a simple background, or download an image to place behind a subject in an editing app.
- Prepare a video background: Create a solid pink image at a suitable resolution for a project that needs a plain colored layer.
- Set a playful focus screen: Fill the display with pink when you want a bold, uncluttered visual surface during a short task or break.
- Try a ring-light effect: Use Ring light frame, then adjust Frame width, Warmth, and Brightness to change the on-screen look.
Tips for a better result
For a quick pixel check, view the screen straight on and look for a point that stays noticeably different from the surrounding pink. A single color can make some irregularities easier to notice, but checking other colors can help: compare with the White Screen or use the more focused Dead Pixel Test.
If you want the color as a light source, adjust the physical display brightness as well as the on-page appearance. Under Screen light, the Sleep timer options are Off, 5 min, 15 min, 30 min, and 60 min. The on-page brightness and warmth affect how the screen looks; they do not change the exact HEX value used for downloads.
For an image, match the resolution to its intended use. The available presets range from HD · 1280 × 720 through 8K UHD · 7680 × 4320, with Full HD, QHD, and Custom dimensions also available. A smaller image is often easier to handle when you only need a quick background.
Limits of Pink Screen
Pink Screen shows a color on your display; it is not a hardware diagnosis or a professional calibration tool. The apparent shade and brightness depend on the display and its settings, so the screen alone cannot confirm whether a monitor is accurate or identify the cause of a visible pixel issue. If you need a precise assessment, use suitable test equipment or contact the display manufacturer.
Downloaded images support 16–8192 pixels per side and up to 33,177,600 pixels total. 8K needs substantial memory and may fail on some devices. Images stay in your browser. For downloads, the selected color value remains exact even when Screen light warmth or brightness changes the page’s appearance.
